Description
For clarinet, percussion, guitar, piano, cello, and bass. Score and parts.
When this piece at last appeared itself as a whole on the paper, I heard the color of sudden change and shift, which indebted to my indwelling theatrical aesthetics when carving the structural aspect of the piece.
Various parts follow each other as liquid fractures leading into the interior of a thought; the interior of forgetting, interlocking and traces of remembrance.
…our world is no more permanent than a wave rising on the ocean.
Whatever our struggles and triumphs, however we may suffer them, all too soon they bleed into a wash,
just like watery ink on paper.
(Arthur Gordon)
